Join the Australasian Orchestra under the baton of its chief conductor Robert Dora for a superb performance of Rachmaninov’s iconic Symphony No. 2 together with well known Australian composer Julian Yu’s beautifully orchestrated 6 Chinese Folk Songs and the World Premiere of Sydney composer David Scheel’s, A Hymn for Planet Earth.
Following previous enthusiastically received performances of major works from the classical repertoire as well as new compositions from Australian and overseas composers, this concert is the first in the orchestra’s 2017 season.
