Join us for a half-day free seminar and collection viewing on Saturday 1 July called The magic of the arts.
Uncover hidden treasures from the State Library Victoria Arts Collection, including books, ephemera, realia, musical scores, vinyl records, exhibition catalogues and much more.
Joining the expert panel is Australian harpist, Marshall McGuire. The viewing of collection items will include a portrait of the Australian composer Peggy Glanville-Hicks by artist Joyce McGrath.
Historian Ian Keese will chair the panel discussion, presented in partnership with the State Library User Organisations’ Council as part of Melbourne Rare Book Week.
