June 11, 2020 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

$25 – $62

Update: This concert has been cancelled, based on the advice issued by health authorities in order to minimise the risk and spread of COVID-19.

ANAM’s professional performance program is temporarily moving online from next Monday 20 April. Musicians will all receive lessons online, and Nick Deutsch and faculty have been busy putting together an online offering of lessons, lectures, discussions and other classes to continue the training of our musicians.

We will be calling all ticket buyers and sharing more information across the next few days, but if you have any inquiry, please send us a email or get in touch with us over the phone. Thank you so much for your patience and support.

ANAM MUSICIANS AND FACULTY, CONDUCTED BY ARDENT CHAMPION OF CONTEMPORARY COMPOSERS, PERFORM TWO LANDMARKS IN THE RECENT HISTORY OF NORTH AMERICAN MUSIC.

  • The Chamber Symphony is one of Adams’ most joyous, playful, transparent works, inspired in equal parts by Schoenberg and Carl Stalling, music director during the golden years of the Warner Bros. cartoons
  • Steve Reich’s Tehillim is like a giant ‘Hallelujah’, a pulsating song of praise, drawing on Biblical texts
