In an event not to be missed, Richard Strauss’ music comes alive in this witty and charming comedy of an “opera within an opera”.
Featuring international stars Wendy Grose (Covent Garden), Kristen Leich (Deutsche Oper am Rhein) and Henry Choo (Opera
Australia) who lead a strong ensemble cast of seventeen talented soloists and the highest calibre orchestra.
Sung in German with English surtitles.
Conducted by Melbourne’s own Dr David Kram and directed by internationally acclaimed dramatic soprano Stella Axarlis AM.
