Orpheus Britannicus: A Celebration of Henry Purcell’s Musical Genius

Leighton Triplow (high tenor), Alastair Cooper-Golec (tenor) and Erin Helyard (continuo) present a recital celebrating the musical genius of Restoration composer Henry Purcell (1659–1695). This programme features the popular and lesser-known vocal works both sacred and secular in nature. ‘If Music be the Food of Love’, ‘An Evening Hymn’, ‘We the Spirits of the Air’, ‘Sound the Trumpet’ and many more!
